Before: The sales manager of a company that provides engineering services prepared documents for government e-tenders on a daily basis. The manager manually filled out a tender application and uploaded all necessary documents. Depending on the tender, the manager either submitted the bid and waited a few days for the results, or bid at a lower price, updating the price every 30 minutes until the lower price limit was reached, which could take hours.
Now: An RPA bot automatically checks the status of e-tenders, fills out and submits tender applications. When down trading is necessary, the bot lowers the price with a predetermined stepping.
